I'll make my decision on Matt Dixon in 4 years. When he has time to work with his young kids in the off-season and see if he can get them a feeder program going. Bashing him is un-justified. He inherited a program that has not had any discipline or structure for a long time. Baseball is a skill sport and those kids have not worked on the skill of baseball very hard. Give Matt time to see if he can work that skill. Also why bash you team in the paper when they just got drilled. Say some positive things and stay up beat.

They played their first teamers, but they had already played 2 halfs before they played Burton. Played a half with Kelly and a half with Lebanon. Also heard they scrimmaged Amhurst the week before and were a little banged up.

I think it is more than yelling he started off on the wrong foot with the parents when he took the job. You know as well as I do you can't expect high school kids to come to weightlifting, that would mean hard work and dedication. Then when the don't show up you have the guts to call them out in the paper and take away their playing time giving it to the younger kids who attended weightlifting how moronic is he. Bottom line is this they want a coach who will go 0-10 or 1-9 and play their kids, winning is not as important as playing the lazy, spoiled kids, over the hard working ones.
