i was at the game but wasnt talking about salem/amherst. i was pulling for the hokies, as for the standard reply ,i quess that is it. one would have to go thru the entire game in order to understand what went down, two calls that gave each team 7 pts. so in reality the score should have been 7 to 7 with 3 mins left. all in all it was the defense on both sides that won or lost that game. both teams should have had a championship, but we know that is not how it is played.

my thoughts on the call, yes indeed it was an incorrect call,but that call did not win the game,it tied the game at 14-14, with over 3 mins. left in the 4th . salem kicked off to the lancers with the above time remaining,and the lancers, failed to score. the game went into overtime, and again the lancers had a chance to score, i hate that the call occured, but to suggest that won the game for salem,i guess is a matter of opinion.
