They dont want to play us. Lets be honest they love that patty cake schedule of theirs and they won the weakest region in the state. I will give it to them, they won something finally, but I dont have much respect when you cant even win your own district. At least Lebanon revenged their district defeat by beating the district champ. You dont see holston having to play George Wythe again. And for Cavdaddy and others to claim they are going to win state either this year or next is just plain crazy.

I'm not doubting that they could be good, but to think that a Freshman and a Sophomore will make that much of a difference next year is just plain outrageous. We tried that this year with our QB. Jake did a good job, but he also had some growing pains. I'm not too worried if that is what the hype is. I mean, they "may" come and play for you, doesn't mean they will. What will you do if that plan doesn't work?

So how did big creek do this year?

Where do they go to school now?

Bottom line, its my opinion and belief. I'm a major supporter to the Falcon Nation in all of our sports, but have love for football. We pretty much take care of the SWD in all other sports: basketball, baseball, and track. I want to see domination on the grid iron!

I agree to some point with you, but think you guys hope it passes so you won't have to face the mighty falcons. We're making strides here. Don't get mad, just my humble opinion.

To some degree they are but you are losing your talented QB. He has made all the difference in your system this year.

#5 - Our JV program, our jv kids are hungry and want to establish Abingdon as top dog in the SWD. #4 - Sucess of 2007 football team. We ended with a winning record, started the tradition of walking through the stands, took the eventual state runner up (Richlands) down to the wire, this brought confidence to our kids and fans that anything is possible. #3 - Our youth. We started a sophmore at QB who is going to be good, along with some supporting cast. #2- Offseason. We have our 7-7 tourney that not only focuses on the skill guys but also big boy strength and agility contest. We got a lot of praise for this from area coaches. #1 - The SWD is going to be down some next year. Both Richlands and Tazewell are graduating most of their talent and will be in rebuilding mode. This should allow us to sneak up on some guys and take advantage of that. (Dont forget both Grundy and Abingdon went young this year, that should pay off for both schools next year) We need a post season birth. Our fans and town are hungry for it. These are some of the reasons why I think the Falcons will be a force to reckon with in 2009. You heard it here first!

First the post was cute. but once again we have the falcon haters. Marion quite crying about us beating you guys, we cant help the fact that we whipped you guys all up and down the field. Nevertheless, duece this was a good post.

I think Holston will get em another one this week. That trip from Bath could be a major factor. I wish them luck. (SideNote) They wouldn't stand a chance against my falcons, so lets be real and let that go guys, let them enjoy the success they are having with teams they match up with.
