And the school board claims that they should shut pocahontas down just for the fact we dont have as many oppurtunities...but that is not our fault because they are the ones that dont offer that over here but yall are goin to look at yalls side more than any other because you will be happy if we close just because as much as you say you may not look down on pocy kids you may not but you have no respect for us if you dont look down on us

I have a good friend who works there and he says it will be over 80% full with the receipt of several hundred inmates that will be transferring in there this week and next. There has been no increase in "undetained" population in Pocahontas since the prison opened. There is no need to wait until 2009 to see if the school's enrollment will increase because it won't. The sooner the school is closed, the sooner Tazewell Co. can begin fixing/replacing existing structures that have more students than Pocahontas. As for devastating the town, have you been to Pocy lately??? Its already devastated... Pocahontas by 16......because they will have brett hodock back.....and he will be ready to hit anybody and everybody in his way.....and i think pocahontas has the better team
