First, everyone is beatable no matter what team. Second, Tazewell had problems between some players and the coach that night they played. Tazewell was down 30 and came back to lose by 12 or something like that. Mostly it was Coach Walker's problem. Colby Hunt was on fire at first and Walker didn't change his defense. A Box-and-1 would work great against Abingdon and he wouldn't run that. I'm not saying Tazewell will beat them next time. I'm just saying that they can.

Good Job to the "Mafia" for backing up there team. That's good school spirit, but doing an Indian Chant after Pauley done anything good or bad against them is what makes people hate the "Mafia".

Yeah i found out today that breanne has returned, but they play good as a team on the court they just talk crap behind each others back. Kelsey Sutherland tore it up against grundy and they played good and almost won. But they all want to act like they are the best of the best on the team. No offense cause I hope they do great, but I don't see that happening this year.

Yeah it will make me look like an idiot but I have confidence that they will win. I don't like people talking crap either and i didn't mean it bad, but if I say tazewell sucks then thats not being a supportive fan.

My bad. I must have been fed B.S. Is Reavis the black point guard from last year or Handy? We couldn't figure that out. But if they only have Reavis returning, no matter how good a player he is, Tazewell will dominate the district. But no matter who wins, the talent in the other teams around here are too much for any SW team to contend in regions. Tunstall and Martinsville always dominate the SW in regions.

Tazewell JV got whipped by Oak Hill. They had a guy who was like 5 feet tall and draining everything he threw in the air. Tazewell made stupid mistakes because of inexperience, but they got a new coach who is better and won't call a timeout when we have a 3-1 fast break. Seriously last year's caoch did that.

Carroll, Abingdon, Graham, Grundy, Tazewell, Marion, Richlands. Tazewell has Brittney Muncy and Cara Cecil for tazewell are two 6'0" girls who can really play the post. They can shock some people and move up, but I think there are two players who get credit where credit ISN'T due. I won't say names because I don't want to start things, but this team is not playing like a team. Breanne Vencil is sick and can't play now and Sarah Tessmer has cancer and can't play. They are two good senior leaders who we don't have and could really contribute to winning.

Not saying she is the best player but Kelsey Sutherland from Tazewell is a good one. She was the second leading scorer her freshman year when Allison Hunter was on the team. That's pretty good if you ask me and i think she is close to 1000 points for her career and she is only a Junior.

But Duke didn't beat them again. Duke is a good team, but with the ACC as strong as it is with teams like Va Tech that always pulls off an upset it will be hard to keep a 29-3 record to get a number 1 seed. UCLA has nobody in the Pac-10 but USC and maybe Oregon or Arizona but all three are down. Mayo leaving hurt USC's chances at winning the Pac-10. UCLA is experienced and have a great coach who knows how to get there. On another point, UCLA won't last long in the NCAA tournament if they play like they did against Michigan and Texas. Notre Dame is still my sleeper and Michigan will contend with Michigan St. and Purdue for the Big 10 title. Bealin or however you spell his name is a good coach and has turned them around.

Oak Hill was good and that freshman was good too, but the refs killed both sides and robbed both teams of a great game and a possible upset by Tazewell. The point is Tazewell stuck in there and came back from 20 down and made it a six point game. They could make their jumpers and was no way they could drive on the 6'8" guy so when they play teams that are their height they will dominate.

The BCS has never been right, but this year they got it. Texas has a good argument, but all they had to do was take care of Texas Tech and they would be in the National Champion. I do recall Oklahoma killing Texas Tech like 63-21. Oklahoma played their best when it counted and won the games in the end by scoring 60+ points in 5 straight games. Nobody has played better ball than Oklahoma in the last 4 or 5 games, not even Florida. Oklahoma wins the National Championship and they should change to a 12-team playoff like the NFL does. So teams like Boise St. who also go undefeated don't get screwed out of chance.
