That wasn't our best game to tell you the truth either.

yeah I know, but would they recognizing and have a big ceremony on the mid court line before the national anthem. And I honestly thought we could have won that game. We shut your best player down, #11, and if Darris didn't catch fire...who knows what would have happened.

That was a great game, as I sat watching my brother play and then taking a 7-0 lead then having Darris just killed us...good game though. It wasn't as good as the game I attended in Georgetown but other than that, I fell it should have been close but WVU didn't miss the second half. I thought it was a little uncalled for to have Darris announced before the game on RADFORDs HOME COURT. That is like a player from Duke being from Chapel Hill and them giving him a plaque and naming it his day in the town while playing in the Dean Dome. I thought it was stupid and they could have had the WVU team go to Radford High School and do it there. Anyone else think this way?

I think it is not fair for the opposing teams, and needs to be fixed. And you can't sit over there without the big fat guys taunting about another game years in the past. They are 30 and picking on little kids. Grow up GC and have some class for the other team. Win with pride and lose with dignity.

We could take our best 10 players, separate them into two teams and win the Hogo and place second.

The Pulaski Cougars won a hard fought game in Dublin tonight over the visiting George Wythe Maroons 76-64. The Cougars had the half time lead at 34-31. With under 5 minutes to go, the Maroons took the lead 61-58 on a Tristan Boysaw foul and one. The Cougars ended the game on a 18-3 run to win the game. The Maroons tied it up with about 2:30 to play, but the Cougars then ended the game strong. Tennis Simon had 19 for GW and Nubian Peak led the Cougars with 15. It will be another great game Friday the 21st in Wytheville. BTW the Pulaski girls team beat the GW girls team 57-55. I am anxious to see how they (Pulaski) play with Gate City.

With the season ending today, we had two of the best competitors all season in the finals in #1 roadwarrior and #6 rhsfan88. And with a score of 9-8, the winner of SWVA Pick'em Heavyweight Championship Bout, wearing the blue and grey shorts.....rhsfan88. I watched the scrimmage a couple of different years and Bluefield owned them. I remember during one of the scrimmages in the early 2000s when George Wythe was supposed to have a good team Bluefield beat them by 30+ points in one of those scrimmages. [/ QUOTE ] That is true but I think both teams were still in football so you can't judge scrimmages with players out. GW should be in Richmond this year, baring a major choke like last year.
