They beat George Wythe on a last second shot. BUT 4 out of 5 of GW starters were playing football and couldn't play, the first three off the bench still are playing football also. They had four JV players dress out including all 3 PGs. So it could be a long year for Abingdon. And also, maybe 6-6 not 6-8

They lost to George Wythe tonight in a scrimmage 40-36. It was only 3 quarters but here is the kicker...GW had 10 players, 4 of which were JV including all 3 point guards. We had 4/5 starters still playing football, and the first 3 off the bench still playing football. I don't know if Castlewood was full strentgh or not, but it might be a long season for them. This also applies to Abingdon, they beat us on a last second shot 42-40.
