  1. Hidden valley 21-7 over LB 8:44 left
  2. Hidden valley 14-7 over LB early in 3rd
  3. Hidden valley 14-0 over lord b in the 2nd
  4. Wow...that is interesting lmao!
  5. I got it...wow You really should stop. You are making yourself look bad. Then again, maybe that's what you are trying to do.
  6. I have. It's crazy how much grip there is, but still enough give to keep injuries down. Some turf is cut longer than others also. Mitchell stadium is real short, richlands and honaker have a bit longer blades on theirs. The really makes a difference. Serious question, did you play at v high? We are the same age, and played every year when I was in school.
  7. Have you ever played on that type of turf? It's not the carpet of us old guys. You are right, if it rained very hard and water was standing on the field then yes it would be slick. But it is designed to not lose it's grip in wet weather. Drainage is a key for that to happen as well.
  8. Cognitive issues? I know about the cleats and the rules issue that went along with it. I attended that game as a matter of fact. I'm sure every richlands guy knows about it too because us Tazewell guys bring it up as often as possible lol. You sir are the one that don't seem to understand humor or sarcasm. Good luck to your team Friday. I hope they play well.
  9. Yep I agree. Rain doesn't really effect speed on turf either. You get the same amount of grip in those rubber pellets wet or dry. The ball will be slick as hell, but that's about it
  10. I can't believe it somebody this long to bring that up lol.
  11. I asked if it was about Grundy, because I thought it was about Grundy. I'm done posting on the subject, it's getting way out of hand. Back to the game....good luck to both TEAMS. It really is about the boys after all. I hope both play there best games to date and I will be listening to Ron brown for sure! I really enjoy hearing him get excited, even though I'm a bulldog. I never pick a score, so I won't this time, but I believe if they both play well, it will be pretty even. Va high cannot turn the ball over at Ernie, or it will get ugly for them. Good luck fellas
  12. I know you didn't mention Grundy. I just read it that way. That is why I asked...relax big man
  13. Is it just me, or did Lance misunderstand what the va high guys were talking about with fans?? I thought they were talking about grundy fans...maybe its just the way I read it.
  14. Ryan and bigrhsfan that's exactly what I meant. I'm just going by what you are putting on the field now. That being said, I believe you guys still haven't played your best football. This team isn't lacking talent, just seem to be missing that killer instinct we have seen in the past. The more games they play, the scarier they become. Good luck this weekend guys
  15. I understand what you are saying and why anyone would think that. But it's kind of like the perfect storm(lol) and I think any other year you might see more dominance from them.
  16. I don't think it has anything to do with a target on richlands back. They are a little down talent wise, most importantly Div 2 prior to the new classifications was constantly tougher the past couple of years in this area. The road is just tougher now than in the past. The richlands team from day when Devon Johnson was a jr or senior would walk through these playoffs.
  17. This is kind of like watching a car wreck...you know it's going to end bad, but yet I still keep watching.
  18. Execution is determined by how well a play is played. It's a lot easier to execute plays when you have an idea what the other team is going to do in certain situations. Ask any coach in the area if they prefer having game film or not. 100% would take the game film if given a choice.
  19. Tendencies are a huge part of coaching HS football. Always have been and always will be.
  20. It's a 3 minute warm up period. They actually added this several years ago
