  1. I have plenty of football knowledge, and I have been to many Graham games and other football games this year and Berraras is nowhere near the best player in the area. Sure, he is vital to their team and is a good player, but he is not close to being the best in the area. I would have to say Fuller comes in as the best offensive player in this area, just look at his recruiting. However, Bluefield did shut him down this year in the game against Richlands and I would definitely have to consider some Bluefield players for best offensive talent. Shaun Brooks and Ansel Ponder should always be considered. Ponder has been triple teamed every game this year because each team knows his potential game changing talent. Brooks has arguably the best field vision I have seen in this area, by far and is racking up some crazy stats not only on offense but defensively too. With both of those players reaching double digits in college recognition, why are they not mentioned in this disgussion?
  2. I know WCC recruits but they can still be beat. and "A" classes dont matter..any team can beat anyone. I still think Keyser isnt anything special. I havent heard one thing good about them or Berkley Springs. I saw on one message board where a guy from Keyser was comparing this years team to the 04 Keyser team saying that they were just as good. A Bluefield fan quickly informed him that Keyser lost to Bluefield that year in the playoffs and he seemed quick to jump and correct himself and try to change things around. I just havent been impressed by much from them.
  3. I know of Wheeling Central's legacy, but for Keyser to lose by 28 at home while they are suposed to be a highly ranked team in their given class doesn't impress me the least. I know that they beat Berkley Springs but I have yet to hear one good thing about that team. I dont know about Keyser. I feel Chapmanville with the slight upset.
  4. idk about Keyser. I have read some bad stuff about them..speaking of inconsistency and such. Didnt they lose by 28 to Wheeling Central on Friday night? Also Keyser plays Chapmanville first round and they beat Scott in the season. And 9/8 is always an interesting matchup
  5. I can definitely see Bluefield big in the first round. Not entirely too big because we will have 2nd and 3rd and so on teams in during most of the second half. As for Scott, I can see them getting upset. They can score tremendously, but their defense scares me with how vulnerable it is. As for Bluefield, I see them getting through the first two rounds easily then a possible tough challenge in the semis, whether it be Scott or someone else.
  6. yeah Berraras is big and is a fullback, but the reason he gets 100 yrd games is because he is used as a RB. if they used him as an actual fullback, i feel he would be more effective opening up holes for other runners. he still is vulnerable in his legs and is definitely not the best offensive player in the area.
  7. I cant believe that Hubbard is back to coaching at bluefield. I had him for baseball there and he was by far the worst coach I had experienced. I couldnt imagine his short self on a basketball bench trying to act like he knows what hes talking about, just like he did on the diamond. Bluedfields team this year will be the players team. We had enough of Ernie's horrible calls last year and aren't about to stand for Haven's crap either.
  8. Tyler is crap. hit him in the legs and he goes straight down. just remember the Beaver/Graham game this year when all we had to do is fall towards his knees and he hit the turf. and plus he had two turnovers in the first half of the most important game in his high school career. some great offensive talent he is.
