Abingdon had GW and Coeburn tonight in a scrimage...Abingdon handled Coeburn pretty easily in the first game-winning by about 15 or 20...GW then beat Coeburn pretty easily as well- not sure about that score...then Abingdon and GW played with GW winning by 1 point

Abingdon invited GW....depends on whether they have enough ppl from football out by wed..

I think this is definately Abingdon's distict to lose. My son told me their point guard from last year hasn't been practicing due to an ankle injury so it will be interesting to see if he's ready by the start of the season

Well if Abingdon is supposed to "dominate" the district, then who will contend them?

First it's the players, then it's the fans, now it's the refs...Anything eles you'd like to complain about? Did the band play too loud and you couldnt hear the snap count? Or did the cheerleaders distract you? Bottom line is that Abingdon manhandled Marion on the line of scrimage and thats the reason they won the game. Congratulations to both teams on good seasons

If that were true then you would think Abingdon would get a least one pentaty called but that didn't because they didn't happen...sounds like a little whine and cheese to me...and everybody talks trash in football, the Marion players obviously couldnt handle it and resorted to throwing punches and Abingdon defended themselves; I dont see anything wrong with that

Marion had 6 personal foul pentalties compared to Abingdon's 0... And after the game the Abingdon players were saying that Marion was spitting in there face the whole night... I say hats off to Abingdon for keeping their composure throughout the night... I was at the game as well and the fight was started by a Marion player pushing an Abingdon player. Marion needs to learn to show a little class- win or lose

oh and the bristol paper is always right

i hear a bunch of talk about abingdon having a good team this year but who are they returning? i know they lost a bunch of production from last year's team so what do they have returning to cause all the hype?

I dont know about abingdon the next couple years...yes they will have good skill players but that doesnt mean anything if they don't have a line to protect them and they don't seem to have a whole lot of potential with they're big men
