good call g-man. i saw abingdon play friday night and if they are one of the top two teams in the swd, then it will be a short post-season for the swd. i was not impressed with them at all. if not for the hunt kid they might not win 5-6 games.

cavity as someone referred to you-i'm getting a little tired of chatting with you on here. next year would be your calling card to (next year we will win state). this is every teams dream but the sad thing is it will never happen for you guys either. concentrate on winning a few games who cares? not me

the cowboy tries to ride a straight path on here but sometimes people on here bash abingdon for past teams. if you look over the past 4-5 years we have been as competitive as anyone else in the district. i just get agitated with some people on here never giving the falcons credit. this ole cowboy feels like riding off into the sunset and hearing that last sermon.

i'm glad you finally brought it up-we lost a good receiver and running back that's it. everyone down here seems to think we might be able to suprise a few people next year. we are all really excited about the direction of the program. how can u start this thread without abingdon being right up front. thanks mr fuller for the compliment mighty falcons-we will take it!

we have too many out anyway-we would have to get you to ref the games if your son played. we really don't want anyone to get hurt, so make sure you stop the play if their is contact made by anyone. we are just out there to have fun it really isn't about winning it's about giving everyone a chance.

i never said we would win the district but we sure as heck will compete for it. read my posts and pay attention before you call someone out on here.

is it fred "3" phillips? i heard he was getting back into the school system.

I heard the guy from Fleming was not interested anymore. The names I keep hearing are guys at Richlands ( mance & ronnie davis).

Now don't you feel lucky to be playing in that region. We are looking at a plan to send several hundred of our students to Patrick Henry & Holston. This will help us get back around the 800 mark and compete year in/out for playoff spots. Everyone keeps moving in down here there is nothing we can do about the enrollment-everyone wants to live in Abingdon at this point. We are just going to have to send them to some of the other schools in the county. So saddle up guys and get ready for some ole Abingdon boys coming to a school near you.

im stating facts. ask anyone including the g-man, graham has no talent coming for the next few years. i watched their middle school game with us this year-it was bad. maybe they can go get a few players from blufield/princton area and improve their team. listen to what i say, the swd will be a 2 team race (rich/taz) for the next several years-i hope abingdon can get in that mix instead of the other one with graham/marion/cc. no offense boys-these are the facts.

thank you. i figure we will be very competitive again next year. we lost 4 games by a td or less. there is a lot of work for us to do but i do feel like we are making strides. some teams that like to talk on here seem to be on the decline-i think we are moving forward. i really hope we are right there with richlands & tazewell next year. i think tazewell will unseat the g-boys as the next best in the disrict for years to come the g-boys are sinking fast.

and you think the g-boys are good. give me a break i haven't seen a decent graham team in several years. you must be living in the past. this year was about the weakest i can ever remember the swd being. it sucks when your on the other end of the scoreboard doesn't it?

abingdon will continue to put good teams on the field. skill wise they are better than most in the swd, the line has been a problem and is likely the only reason we've lost close games. when we get a few good lineman up front then we will take off. really looking forward to watching hess take off over the next 2 years and win a bunch of games for the falcons. looking forward to next year!

i thought haysi lost all their good players. heard holston beat up on them early in a scrimmage this past year. don't know if they would have anything for the cavs.
