whats the story behind #65 with the different color helmet?.i meant to ask someone about that when they played at honaker,but forgot till I just watched the video,

I think a lot of parents like to do it also because they feel like they get to keep their child attached to home 1 more year.on the other hand ,ive heard some complain about taxpayers having to pay for that extra yr for no reason but sports.i look for the hold back thing to stop as the economy gets worse ,but im not up to date if this is the way things work or not,and how much money is actually lost for this type of thing.

no I don't think honaker holds them back,i think its a individual decision by parent and student.some call it holdbacks some call it failing.lol. it was failing back in the day.some kids might need it, some don't.thats very debatable and has many different views.

my son said this honaker team put him in mind of the Clintwood team that beat galax in final few yrs ago.i think Dotson and meade yrs .

teams always matchup different.you never kno till the games played.i was expecting Sussex to spank honaker a couple yrs ago with all that SPEED.this very same talk was all over the boards.sometimes that speed makes the sudden stop hurt a little worse.if honaker don't contain and read well it could get ugly ,but they have done something right to be where they are.i think if vista has strength and size up front to go with that SPEED,it will be a tough out for the tigers.GO TIGERS.win or lose you have gave us some extra post season excitement.

vista may very well lay it on the tigers ,but if my memory is correct that was the same talk going on when Sussex come to town.i wouldn't go out on a limb that's could very well be cut off.unless ur willing to eat crow if it need be served to you.this is true for either team.

one of the guys told my daughter they just lost 5 players from last yr.i watched little film on that qb in last yrs game and he can sling the ball or run it.defencive ends have to contain and outsde linebackers have to read well and help contain.if corners play to tight they will give us a good burning.front defensive line has to be strong up front and pressure passing situations .

I think control with the clock is a big key for honaker.if they can grind out long drives and use a lot of clock to do it would be a biggy.depends on the strength in the trenches for avista.thats hubbards type of game I think.

so who has avista lost to? how will honaker handle the speed across the board?

hind sights 20 20,but if the 2pt had of failed ,would colley have lost any respect from fans at haysi? I personally would not think so,although you might have a few that would say what a idiot play call.he is a legend in at haysi ..

now that wasn't a very nice thing to say about richlands and honaker.

if defense is a little suspect,they could have some problems.colley is a mastermind when it comes to offence in high school football.should be a really good game.sandlick will be vibrant and a tough place to bring home a W.

just curious ,did Clintwood bring any fans to honaker last night or was they playing?
