Checking into the senior qbs from SWVA and NET who are having a great year.. Last year the young man from Grayson County..Tyler Lundy was very impressive in our FCA All Star Senior Game at Emory.. What talent is in the SWVA and NET areas this year?

For anyone not busy Sat we will be doing FCA Hogoheegee versus Cumberland District Basketball game tom at 4pm at Eastside. Coach Chad Bailey of Marion and Coach Matt Snodgass of Chilhowie coaching the Hogo team. Great coaches. Free Admission to all students. Snow ought to be moving out in the morning. We have had rain , snow and then more rain here at Wise tonight.

Just my opinion but the Bears will have their hands full with GC this year.. Hunter Collier back with McClung and others. Bears barely scraped their way back last game to beat GC.. I'm not from Union or GC..The schedule GC plays in early season is that which a few teams only face in playoffs. Bears will be a good team...will they be as good as last year is yet to be seen. Richlands lost a ton of great seniors too.. Don't know if they will be as good as last years team.. Time will tell. Teams may have guys who will step up and amaze their fan base.

Was a great game! A play here or there and game could have went the other way..Va had to foul at the end. Garrett Crandell of Tenn Hg never missed on the free throw line. Thanks to all who came and was a part of the event. Loved Hunter Cope of Thomas Walker bring his grandmother from the stands and doing the slam dunk over her head! That won him the slam dunk challenge. Congrats to Kemp Yeary of Lee for winning the 3 point challenge. All the players had a great time. Coby Jones of Hampton was the difference maker for Tenn.. Cusano from Eastside, Barnes from GC and Cope from TW had strong games.

Nick Qualls of Gate City might be the possible answer. Nick is really good on defense.

His brother CJ played in our game a couple years ago..he was mvp.. he is now at King College...heard that Patrick Good is better than CJ.

Tenn girls roster consist of 5 Elizabethton seniors, 3 Sullivan East, 2 from Happy Valley and 1 from Unicoi county..The 5 Elizabethton seniors are a force! Added with East and others could be a tough match up for Team Va!
