It's nice that he has goals but once again I must refer to my original reply and I hope it works out for him and all involved.

I disagree, like you said he is a kid and the coaches are suppose to be his mentors. Records are good and all but he is on track to get a free education via football what if he gets hurt and can't play again is he still going to have those chances. I personally don't know what his chances are without football but as mentors the coaches should explain that there are many in the VHSL record books that never accomplished a thing in life after High School even with record setting numbers

Basically with Marion up 9-0 they get the ball back with around 2 minutes left in the game and have 2 timeouts. All they do is call run plays up the middle and don't even try to score or stop the clock by calling a timeout.

I said the same thing. How do you get the ball back with almost 2 minutes left in the game and have 2 timeouts left and not call a single one or even call a play to try and get good yardage?

I disagree while Chilhowie has a fine coach the bunch of talent that is playing has been playing ball together for years as had the groups before. And the coach has been able to keep them playing when they get to High School. Alot of people want to give the ball coach all the credit the bottom line is these boys would win with just about anybody coaching them at this point. Chilhowie has an excellent youth program and it has built this program to where it is.

I hate it for those boys; I would love to see them (CHS) achieve something that most of us dreamed about as players but the adults have made this such a mess for them. Hopefully both teams come out without injuries and may the best team win.

Bottom line is had Narrows pulled off the upset last week Chilhowie would not have complained a bit about the game being moved to E&H. For the 1st time this year I think the Warriors are somewhat worried about an opponent. IMO

There was a huge brawl that happened at the end of a basketball game in the 87/88 season. I know this to be true because I was in it and remember it like it was yesterday.

It goes all the way back to Rich Valley and R.B. Worthy days this is not something that just popped up when we became Northwood. Both schools hated Chilhowie before they combined as to why nobody could ever answer that.

What sense does moving the game to Saltville make? How many weeks has it been since a game was played on that field and is it even ready to host a game that will happen in less than 24 hours?

Wouldn't you need them by 12pm tomorrow since the 1st 3 NFL games are tomorrow?
