Last night in the game against PH there was a terrible odor on the field. I think it was something on the PH uniforms. I am not one to make excuses but it was hard to tackle these guys for the bad smell. Not sure what the problem was but I ask dad about the smell and he said some small schools might not have a washer. He told me that I should have stuck my axe in my girdle and sprayed them when they were down. I almost gagged after the first tackle that I made. It was awful! Not sure if anyone else had this problem actually ask a couple of the guys and they just looked at me funny. Well, we actually dominated the game any way and should be 2-0 right now. I ask dad about Chillhowie after the game and he said they were terrible and we should get them by couple td's. Dad said PH looked scared after the entrance last night hope it works next week too. Bigrhs I was just stating the fact of what happened this spring, if that bothered you then so be it. I was here lifting on and off with the team (others with my pt) and never saw him with us. Think you have to defend because you are guilty? I know you tried to recruit one of our football players this past year. He went and worked out with you guys and decided to remain a falcon. This past spring he wasn't with us in the weightroom and they said he was with you guys. So, just maybe Bigrhs, you have to defend because your guilty. Its been protested here and recorded how unfair last weeks game was with the "offsides" by the cats and the non-flags by the hometown refs but no time to cry about that, its a new week for the Falcons and a determined focus. To prepare myself for this week, I went to the internet and looked up some inspirational quotes. Such as: "Don't give up", "No Excuses", "Champions keep playing until they get it right", and "Fat Bottom Girls Make the World Go Around" well not that one, but it was in my head because of Dad blaring his music. :p:cool: Dad said we are turning the corner and to keep going. I think this weeks game will tell the tale, think we will come out fired up and get after Patrick Henry. Dad thinks we win easily Friday. He said we have what it takes to become an elite football team and "its about finishing, we know you can start, but need to finish." Thats bad news for our next 9 opponents because that fired me up and it starts Friday night.:eek:

I agree with Big O, we played our heart out man. Its a shame that the Cats had the refs on their side too. Dad said that V high jumped quick not once but twice offsides and no call was made. Dad said he followed the refs after the game, but they were over there munching on chick filet and wouldn't look toward him.:confused: Its just B.S., all this training during the off season for this?!:mad:

Well what can I say about Friday night. First of all, I will tell you that me and my dad got in an arguement about the game. Dad is blaming the coaches for all the mistakes in the game. I explained to him it is not their fault we have to play better to win. These first 2 games don't mean anything and we didn't show our true stuff. Dad claims we have some guys out of position and should be doing better. Our coaches are doing a good job and you guys will see the true Falcons this week. We would have won Friday if not for all the turnovers. All you guys on here enjoy when we struggle and lose games not sure why you all feel this way. Dad said we can beat VH this week, he watched them scrimmage last week and they lost both games. We are all pumped up and ready to go this week. Stripes will pick the falcons to win 28-14. ;);)

What are you talking about? There is no way you were at scrimmage if you didn't see all the bees. I am not one to make excuses but it is hard to focus under those circumstances. BTW my dad said we easily beat Fort Chiswell in a real game. He told me we were just looking at kids for depth purposes. My new motto for the year "Falcons Never Quit". Some of the guys had tshirts with this on there and I thought it was cool. :cool:

I have seen the posts on our scrimmage from Sat morning and they are inaccurate. We did not give up any td's with our first team defense. They scored a couple on backups and jv players. We actually controlled the scrimmage for the most part and if we played them in a real game we win by 2-3 td's just saying. The most important issue of the day did not involve the football game it was all the bees on the field. I am allergic to bees and had a panic attic during the scrimmage. My dad tried to help me during a break but a bee got in my helmet. What is going on! :mad: There are way too many bees out there to be playing football. :confused: Also, not making excuses but we were playing across the practice field horizontal not vertical kind of confusing for everyone. Please don't get on here and try to dissect this scrimmage and state how the Falcons looked when you were not there! :mad: Give me a break. I am bee'd out and can't take any more. :eek: BTW we played good last weekend and deserve better remarks than this.
