  1. just wondering. how is it that 4 from our district are in the regional playoffs and only 3 from all the others combined. just curious oh wait there are those division things. would anyone like to explain them to me..... plz.
  2. if they were to get a standard qualifying time they would be able to go (there are separate standards for both region and state)
  3. ya shawnee broke the region IV meet record by a little over 2 seconds, which is quite a bit in the 500.
  4. also here are the region IV results http://va.milesplit.us/meets/46225/results/84262 just thought id add that too
  5. if any one cares to know the results for the district indoor meet on this site http://va.milesplit.us/meets/47174/results/83998 in case anyone wanted to see.
  6. actually Wes Crosan Ran at least a 11.67 last year and i think he happens to be from Marion and we (Abingdon) have a bigger team than i thought this year so you better watch out Marion
  7. when i said its goin' down in the A-Town i didn't mean it quite like this thats just not what football is about fighting needs to stay out of sports i didn't see the fight cause i had to leave to do something else so i cant say much about it. but i will say i wasn't too far off on the score prediction (i said 17-28 it was 14-27.... i think.) good luck to Marion for the remainder of the year and i hope none of this carries over into my sports. rivalries are good but not like this.
  8. i'm gonna have to say unless our team gets a bit bigger than it was last year we might have some trouble beating Marion. as for you guys losing it at regions Region IV is one of the toughest regions in running period. River Ridge district dominates, mainly Blacksburg which sent most of their team to state and the girls went on to win it all if i'm not mistaken. look for Marion to be a bit more challenged by everyone (not just us) at districts while still improving in the region(i dont believe they had many if any seniors last year). in outdoor though watch out you guys are going down like always Abingdon all the way
  9. i don't know about all this scared stuff but what i do know is that Marion is going down. I know you guys have seniors that have been to together since what middle school or something. well let me tell you somethin' you cant bind together talent if it wasn't much there to start with. you guys are still a good football team but theres just something missing from your equation. you'll give us a run for our money but we're takin you down in the A-Town. i say 17-28 us See ya Friday night boys. ill be waitin.
