I think cochran has lost 28 straight games. I would imagine the kids play for the school not for a coach. When a coach keeps the school from having a winning program then their is a problem. I would think if I couldn't get a program to the regionals or have a winning record I would do the best thing for the program and QUIT!! Like I said before they should win 12 to 15 games this year. But they have to rely on these freshmen that Coach Palmer helped develop. cochran said himself he has never had any basketball talent or girls who could play basketball until this group that is coming up to play in the next few years. You play for the school and you coach for the school and You want to win and be successful. SO WHY IS COCHRAH STILL COACHING WHEN HE HAS PROVEN HE CAN'T.

Richlands lost another game but not surprising. It looked liked a middle school game or rec game. The coach playing everybody and girls could not get into a rhythm. Cassie Richardson should not come out of the game and they need to get the ball to their big girl. Even though they lost aganist Patrick Henry they still should win 12 to 15 games this year. But they have to keep Richardson in the game and get the ball into the big girl. Most of the teams in this area are not very good this year so these freshmen will save cochran's job.

4. A coach who has a record of 18-80 in the last six years. A coach who has not developed any talent. I guess the girls that are returning are not very good. Why? Because cochran could not develop the girls. So these girls that are coming up are just good basketball players. These girls have played and worked the last 4 or 5 years. Who has helped these kids work? Let's see no it is not moose cochran, I believe it was Coach Palmer. So I believe Coach Palmer has helped this basketball program more than anyone in the program. How many camps did cochran take the girls to during the summer the last six years. It should be at least 20 camps but I would imagine it has been 3 or 4 5. The girls didn't come back to play because the current coach is more concerned about what flavor of ICE CREAM to make on the way to basketall games instead of getting the girls prepared to play.

does the girls varsity at Richlands have 5 or 6 girls not playing basketball this year? What could be the problem? I think a couple are three year starters and a couple got alot of playing time. Could there be trouble with the "FAMILY"

Tryouts-Varsity programs do not have try-outs. The only time you have try-out s is when you can not get enough players to play for you on the varsity level. I believe middle and rec leagues have try-outs. But I guess Richlands varsity has a try-out because they act like a middle school program. I heard the 8th grade girls team beat the varsity in a scrimmage last week.

We can't beat Ervington or we would be playing them. Does anyone know if we put Hurley back on the schedule. That is what I think of our bastketball program NOT cool.

I didn't know Mt Mission had a basketball team. Maybe Richlands could play Lower RedAsh next year or travel and play the Virginia School of the Blind. The basketball coaches fought to keep Pocy open last year so they could play them. Maybe they can get a couple of wins. It will two more than the girls won last year.

I was told if anyone gets thrown out it is a two game suspension and that would count the jamboree and first game.

Bad coaching destroys a good team. What has he done to make these girls better. There is no reason for them to lose every game. What camps did he take them to-besides how to make Ice Cream on the bus to the games.
