This selection is ridiculous...I agree with coalminer completely when he said that the selection is political. Hunter Simpson is one of the best to ever come out of Twin Valley (which is a team that has made the trip to Richmond 3 times in 4 years). How can you honestly have no kids from TV to make first team all region. I hope the coach's in this region are happy with their political and petty ways and I hope it makes them feel good to know they gave kids the shaft

Lucas Shortridge participated in both the Ramey's dunk contest and the Arby's but he is just a junior. Otto would be somebody to think about and also Garett Horn of TV and Hunter Simpson of TV. I agree with vthokies331 and say Tihlee Anderson from Gate City

Some of the refs this year have made some very questionable calls in a lot of important games (and its not about the foul count because they make that even) its about the time of the game the calls are being made. Most of the calls come at crucial times when it can give one of the teams an advantage.

The fact is if TV doesn't play better defense come game time the shooters from Galax will eat them up. TV does have good guard defenders in both Horn and Burniston but if they get in foul trouble early it would be a bad thing for TV. Inside shouldn't be a problem if Smith is in the game because he is one of the most solid forwards in the area and probably in the state.

Well I haven't seen Galax play this season but I have watched TV multiple times including the Region D championship and TV has played very solid in the season but in the game Saturday they came out the second half flat. The let Appy's best player put down 23 so if they beat Galax they will have to play better defense. Especially sense Galax is a team of shooters (or so I've heard)

Hankins is a pretty good ball player but if you put some pressure on her she shoots some stupid shots...but Bland is a good team and Hankins is a good player so they have a shot..Especially is Ra'shelle Miller get into foul trouble.

Bland will play J.I. Burton in sub-state...I've seen both teams play and I have to say that Bland has a really tough game ahead of them...If Bland doesn't have a really good game then Burton wins by 10
