Both teams are better now than at that time. Who knows, maybe we'll see in a few weeks. Dont get to excited over the GC win though. Their kids cashed it in after the Battle game. They even have a starter wanting to miss this Friday's game to attend a wedding. lol They had an awful week of practice leading up to the VHS game. I think the entire start of the season, the 1-4 start and everything....their kids were still playing for the district championship. Once that was gone, they're counting down the days to basketball season. Thats not saying that VHS wouldnt have beat them anyway, just that the margin of victory is decieving. VHS has improved alot....... they can even throw the football now.

They could have........The starting QB IMHO was the best QB in the area but suffered a season ending neck injury. Foreman was a WR/HB that has been moved to QB. He throws a really good deep ball but the passing game is still a ?.

Battle played of awful that game to.....dont think you'd beat them in a rematch. Regardless of what we think....... what we know is that JSB beat VHS on the field. End of discussion. Last year was penalties....this year was a fluke.... C'mon man, are you from Abingdon?

DB makes everyone look like that. Foreman is the fastest kid I've ever seen in person........ Thats alot considering I've been on the field with 2 NFL HB's. They have the fastest backfield in the state of TN this year. There are no angles. If they cross the LOS....it's a foot race.

Check out #6 Malik Foreman. He has multiple offeres already including some D1 offers from UK and others. # 8 Swafford also has about a dozen offers. Foreman finished this game with 10 carries 264 yards, 5 rushing TD's and 2 passing TD's.

I heard a sad rumor that a Lebanon player suffered a severe injury tonight and had to be medflighted out. Any truth to this or does anyone know anything? Prayers for the kid, his family teammates and coaches if this is true. Sure hope it's not.

Oh no, I wasnt saying that Meade doesnt have speed. He's got speed to go with his power. Cody Rogers has been clocked multiple times between the mid 4.5's and low 4.6s in the 40. Combine that with his agility and he's a whole different type of back than Meade. Meade has speed to go with his power...but he's not as fast as Cody Rogers. Not many people in this area are. Not slighting Meade at all. Just different types of backs. I do agree though that people dont realize Meade's speed. I noticed it last year during the state game. He can run.

Prove me wrong...but I say Gate City by 14-21. I dont think VHS will be able to run the football. I've been wrong before though.

VHS will have to pass the ball to beat Gate City. Maybe not complete many, but atleast attempt some. Battle had a rough passing night against the Devils but atleast attempted around 15 or so.. If VHS just throws 2 or 3 passes like usual, the Devils will load the box.
