    Twin Valley!! lol
  2. Yea, every coach loves to have a kid that will try and do whatever it takes to win (smith), or he will die trying. I love how he plays, he plays so hard all the time, I would think he will try to play in college, if he really loves the game he will try! Best of luck to him, and I will try and keep tabs on him. As far as the style and additude goes, I would rather have someone with that additude than someone who is afraid of the ball and afraid of physical contact. But like you said Mapper, best of luck to both players.
  3. I agree with you completely mapper, in that the next few years look very bright for the rebels! I am excited for it, I understand what you are saying now, but Twin Valley can play the what if game too, lets say Shortridge doesnt have season ending knee surgery, does that make an impact? Yes. I know you do not think much about him, but the kid was a baller and a leader, and they missed that big time, obviously. That is one of the examples of when I said the "what if" game. But I am pumped about the rebels future, and I hope for a final four appearance! Go rebels!
  4. Im sorry, you are right, I was not at the game. And I support them too, but there are so many teams around here that could say what if over the years...not trying to be mean, but we lost...thats all there is to say about it! Wish we would not have, but we did.
  5. If, If, If, If...but we didnt hit that half-court shot did we...
  6. No one is going to sleep on Castlewood...They are the 1 seed...
  7. I am not saying we have a bad team by any means. But Appy is very very good! They would have been the number 1 seed hands down if they did not have upper division dominate force in Powell Valley! They have size, speed, and can shoot very well. We can do it, but it is going to be very hard to keep up with them! Good luck rebels, but we have to play the best game we have all season!
  8. I am pretty sure that TV lost to Richlands by around 6 or so...
  9. Hurley vs. Council, Haysi vs. Hurley rescheduled from tonight to saturday night, Haysi vs. Honaker on Saturday night, probably determine both girls and boys district champions!
  10. Well they obviously have to atleast have two, the BDD winner and the tournament winner. And as far as I can tell, I would say that there will be 2 different teams to do so. Another team will get in as well, and seeing all of their records are very close the only team I see losing out on a regional visit would be Council, Haysi and Honaker are both going to make the upper division regional tournament, so I would say that Hurley and Twin Valley will both make the lower divisional regional tournaments, but I agree that no teams are very impressive this year in the BDD!
  11. If council had beat honaker tonight, then it was possible for a 5 way tie at 4-4! How crazy would that have been!!
  12. 48-33 TV...really could not believe my eyes, the rebs scored 12 points in the second half after leading by 9 just about a minute before halftime. Balanced scoring from TV, Hurley's "big three" did not do much! Both end of the floor tonight, we just got beat down!
  13. Haysi boys beat Hurley tonight, and even stranger Hurley girls beat Haysi girls! Council beats TV at TV on homecoming! TV girls beat up Council girls...the BDD is crazy in both girls and boys!
