The AD first let the travel ball players into the high school games free as long as they have their jerseys on. They got into the South game free but he told everyone in the ticket booths for the Marion game not to let them anymore.

I was at the travel football game Saturday at Gene Malcolm. I talked to some of the VA High coaches and was told their travel teams paid $400 a game to play there. Said Bristol first wanted $1100 but they were able to get it dropped to $400. My question is how much does the High School team have to pay to play there. Only curious.

I don't think we truly disagree. Until the biggest problem is dealt with changing the other problems will not help.

The coach is the least of the problems at GC. They can fire Akers and hire the best coach in America but it won't change anything.

GC fans this year sounds a lot like the Graham fans through the Doug Marrs years.

From outside looking in I did not know. Now that I have been involved with it I am seeing what I had been hearing about. He refused to open bathrooms and concessions on two separate nights during little league.

We have some really good coaches in LL but kids don't seem interested in coming out.

Last year was the first year. The 10U team only had one loss last year. A few of the kids on the travel team play in the basketball league too.

And yes they are the same kids from the little league. You can also see them practice Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 6pm on Kane field.
