All of the 70s and part of the 80s a team had to be really good to make the playoffs. Not saying that GC and Lee was weak then but most years the Highlands had one good team that would beat the rest handily though there were some competitive years also.

Looks that way. From 70 to 84 or 85(i think) was before divisions and was pretty hard to make the playoffs then. From 78 to 85 they missed the playoffs twice when a lot of 9-1 teams were sitting at the house. That to me shows they were atleast competitive through their seasons to make the playoffs. GMAN or someone in the know please tell me what Abingdons record was each of the years 78 through 85 or whenever divisions started? Also I did not make this post to belittle the Falcons are start anything. After seeing all the other posts on here I was just curious about their football history.

How many Region IV titles do they hold in Football? How many District titles do they hold in Football(including the week as cat pee Highlands)?

I would love to see Hurley win the BDD this year. Long over due.

Just wish Grundy got to drop to single a this year. They could probably win the BDD(not saying they cant win the SWD) and be a great contender for the Region D title(not saying thaey wont contend for the Region IV title). Would love to have seen some of those matchups this year.

Its up to them to prove me wrong then. I just did not think they would lose like that to CC. But then again CC may be the team to beat in the SWD. Was you at that game? If so or anyone here that was at that game tell me about CC. How do they look this year?
