In my opion the Vols aren't there yet. Probably a couple years away from being a SEC contender. Plus Florida seems to always have their number no matter how good a team Tennessee has. I do think UT has the coach that can get them back to the top if the alumni will give him the time. I always pull for any team playing a school from the state of Florida.

The 2006 State Champion Blue Tornado were 0 and 8 as eighth graders and the 2010 state runner ups didn't win a game either as eighth graders. Go figure.

I would rather go 10-0 and not win state as to go 0-10 and simply not win. many things go into a state championship. You gotta be good and you better be lucky!

No state championships since all the transfer started rolling in. how many players on the current roster are transfers? how many are hold backs? Not rear hard for a 19 year old to be better than a 16 yeart old. What are these parents thinking? All so their kid can get some attention, name in the paper, scholarship(give me a break) most of the ones that do get an offer never make it past a year in college because they have to compete against kids there own age. Check yourself before you wreck yourself!

Hope the boys from grundy can get it done against their ex-teammates.
