  1. no, if its the kid I've been watching at the eighth grade games he is not a transfer nor a holdback I remember him playing smurfs with my Little Brother and they are both in the same grade...
  2. That Bluefield game was one of the best I had witnessed at Ernie even though we lost it was a great game, and Bluefield went on to win state and I think we ended up getting rolled by Brookeville and LT.
  3. No but I almost ate a bullet from there, they are not to kind to surveyors....
  4. has to get better with his decision making....
  5. i Partied with him and Jescoe White in Pikeville once no lie...
  6. also heard that E-Johnson has a concussion and may not play, that leaves a huge void in the running game and defense.
  7. I really think that richlands will be able to control the line of scrimmage with their power running game(BASSET)and wear down the union defense, if you can control the clock 9-10 minutes a quarter then it is had for a defense to cope with, I think our athletes are conditioned well as I could tell at Gate City there were a lot of hands on knees and hips on the Blue Devil side where Richlands was just cramming it in the Third quarter, point is if Richlands plays good defense then I feel confident with our offense, Like I said 28-7...
  8. Richlands wins 28-7, if and only if they can stop making foolish penalties, so far our defense has been pretty solid which isn't saying very much because of the situation at GC, but from what I've watched they've been solid against the run.
  9. wow did you hate us that bad when you were beating us year in and year out? or is this a more recent hate?, it's kind of suprising that Richlands has not done anything to you personally or to your Team or your program, its not Richlands fault that you guys had a few bad years-you can blame carlock's replacement for that, or that your backup qb transfered here, we didn't encourage that, we've never recruited players-they've recruited us...and also I cheer for you guys only when you're not playing us and i could probably speak for most of the Richlands fans on here when I say that.
  10. I was at the game also, and I saw what I saw, not picking fights, but I do know that the rbs, dbs, and the qb, were not holdbacks, also they only threw maybe 2 passes the whole game.
  11. Funny how Tazewells team had a big o-line, d-line and bigger d-backs than richlands and they couldn't stop the run and also how Tazewell probably had triple the numbers on the eighth grade team than we had and still lost by 40 points, and its not the coaches decision to hold the player back it the parents, if they need it do it, I remember playing Grundy in eighth grade and the half the players had full grown beards they creamed us in both games by like 40 points, our team was the group of seniors that played salem in 04 in the semifinals and I think we beat Grundy like 55-7 that year or something like that so you can't use the holdback's as an excuse.
  12. I can understand that honestly, but like everyone has said they have Bluefield, which the Tazewell vs. Richlands rivalry cannot touch as far as which one has more tradition and signifigance, so I think its fair to say to let the blues and bulldogs have their own day in the spotlight, and maybe later down the road there will be a Tazewell County Football Graham vs Tazewell or Richlands edition. If it were Graham and Tazewell in the film I would still be proud to say hey I'm glad they made a film about Tazewell county football.
  13. Does anyone remember when Bobby Boucher came in at halftime and the Mud-dogs won the Bourbon Bowl...Do ya???
