My cousin called last night and said the old ball coach was retiring at Chilhowie. He told the team last night.

For the last time I am a Northwood Panther. Why are you so hung up on Chilhowie? They beat you so much its not considered a rival anymore.

I am from Northwood, however, I was so glad that someone beat George Wythe. Get use to it Canes you have and will find out that beating George Wythe is hard. After watching your JV and 8th grade teams play this year you had better be worried.

Marion tried to get in the little league football jamboree at Chilhowie and Saltville but was refused. They had better enjoy this season becasue their JV and 8th grade teams are terrible.

and I have seen both Chilhowie and Marion play and Chilhowie should have beaten you. they have the better team and far more class than Marion.

I love how the Bristol sports writers quoted a tow-truck driver who played in 1993 who got the info from an 11 year old relative. Sounds very reliable doesn't it. Word on HOGO.com this morning is that the sports writers were on twitter last night trying to get info from high school students to futher their sale of newspapers. Interesting????????????
