I have to be honest. I will be at this game instead of the Virginia High game. Battle won last year in OT for the first time since the 80's to make their 2nd win ever over gc. Battle still a fairly tough team this year hosting the devils as gc is catching hot at the right time. gc wants revenge. this will be a showdown of showdowns. I got my money on the trojans, lesser of the 2 evils to me.

That's mostly explainable.
I doubt you could run 7 seconds off on 1 play, its petty hard to do that.
If your QB is your best athlete/most sure handed returner then get him on the field, this I high school ball, not the NFL. Haysi has played our QBs at LB several times(Compton '05-'06) and Blair('10) and Owens('11-12) may have played some at DE(im pretty sure he did in '11). Blair returned kicks too. You gotta do whatever it takes within the rules to win, period.
Now kneeling the ball down, I don't agree with that. Imo you gotta run the ball, burn more time and try to get a 1st down. Especially if youre a running team.

Bullying is stupid. I think any upperclassman that belittles a freshman or sophomore needs to be kicked off the team. High school ball is all about chemistry.

Battle did fine in the playoffs? They won what? The sportsmanship award? Didn't hear them winning a state title. Yeah Va High is 1-4 but 3 of those 4 losses are from good opponents.
