bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted March 13, 2005 I think the final 4 will be Illnios, Wake...."Which will kick the crap out of washington", Unc, "if they can defeat Conneticut" and either duke or kentucky...Thats going to be a very good game!!! and my beloved mountianeers will get beat by wake forest in the 2nd round
beaverbaseball 10 Author Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 Duke will have a tough time in the 2nd round agaisnt Standford
bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 Are you kidding me ? They wont have a tough game till kentucky...
Blues_56 23 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 Theres no way that will be a tought game even tho every game in the tourney is usually tough i still dont think Standford will be much of a challenge for them.
Blues_56 23 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 Standford will get beat first round newayz by Mississippi State.
beaverbaseball 10 Author Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 Well either way Stanford is tough. Dick Vitale aslo agrees with me on Stanford being a tough game for duke
Grundy10 10 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 If Syracuse makes it to face Duke i think Syracuse will win that one. Michigan St. may be a suprise team in the tourney this year though....
BigBlue02 11 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 i got Kentucky winning it all as much as it pains me to say
bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 BluefieldRules, do you honestly think that syracuse can get past kentucky and duke??
beaverbaseball 10 Author Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 I think they have a shot but i say Duke will come away with the win to go on and play UNC and then of course UNC will win
bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 Duke will be looking for some revenge for the last time the played, Duke will come out in this game though... I do hope duke wins, they probply will though... Seeing Marvin Williams will be nervous in a game that would send his team to the national championship
beaverbaseball 10 Author Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 Lets just wait and make sure they both get there lol
Bluefield_Rules 46 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 [ QUOTE ] BluefieldRules, do you honestly think that syracuse can get past kentucky and duke?? [/ QUOTE ] Didn't I pick them to get to the Final Four? Syracuse has a lot more experience than Kentucky with Warrick, McNamara, Edelin, and Pace all being key members of the 2003 national title team. And Syracuse is much deeper than Dook, especially inside. I picked Syracuse to make the national title game two years ago and lose to Kansas prior to the tourney starting when no one thought they would even sniff the Final Four. As you know they won it all that year.
Grundy10 10 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 I agree Rules. I like either Syracuse or Michigan St. to come out of the Austin bracket as the suprise team in the final
bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 Syracuse had a player, nobody has hardly herd of him, but i think his name was "Carmello Anthony"...
Bluefield_Rules 46 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 [ QUOTE ] Syracuse had a player, nobody has hardly herd of him, but i think his name was "Carmello Anthony"... [/ QUOTE ] And 'Melo will be the first person to tell you that he didn't win the title alone. In fact, Gerry "Mac" was just as important as Melo was on that team with his outside shooting opening up things inside.
wisecav72 10 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 i have ony two things to say. 1. dont count out vermont on a little upset fever. coppenrath is one of the best players in the country, although few know of him. and 2. only one word for this one KENTUCKY
bluefieldRocks 14 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 I would be saying go kentucky also....but since my blue devils have to play them to get into the final 4, i cant root for them...But if they get put out...I'll be rooting for Kentucky and Illinois
