soccerdog 10 Report Share Posted March 24, 2005 The girls won 4-2. Goals by Hunter, Singletary, and Hula. Hula's goal was almost from mid field. Even though THS won, both teams played pretty scrappy. BooYah 10 Report Share Posted March 25, 2005 The VA High boys did win 2-1. Nick Wisman and Nick Esposito scored two first half goals for a 2-0 Bearcat lead at the half. Tazewell applied most of the pressure in the second half, but only managed one goal on a penalty kick with about four minutes remaining. The Bearcats turned in a great defensive effort, allowing very few shots on goal. The Tazewell keeper made several good saves to keep the score close.
