What do the Lady Dogs look like this year? Whose playing? What's their schedule look like?

Hey liltiger: I don't know about the hotdogs but the pizza sure is good!!!!!

Honaker has an 8-1 record with their only loss to Richlands 37-0. Honaker has played some of the same teams we play...Va High which they beat 27-21 and spoiled their homecoming; they beat Abingdon 27-20; they beat Lebanon 42-25; all of these are teams that we play. They beat Twin Valley 60-13 and Twin Springs 39-7; John Battle 52-18; they beat Haysi 14-9--probably their toughest game--and they beat Hurley 61-8 or something like that. Not to mention that a lot of these same guys from Honaker were on this same team that beat Tazewell in Tazewell two years ago. We won down there last year. A win for the Tigers gives them a number 1 seed and believe me they will come prepared to win. With the changes Tazewell has made, I have no doubt that they will give it their all as well. It will be a great game!!!

There is a super nice article about THS Soccer Star, Allie Hunter, in today's Free Press. Allie is an amazing player on the field and just as amazing off the field. Good luck to Allie in all of her endeavors.

I am so saddened to hear about Coach Carlock. While I don't know him personally, any time our team played Graham, he always treated our team members with respect. Regardless of the sport, he was always around and treated the visitors with such class. My thoughts and prayers go out to Coach Carlock and his family and to his football family as well.

It was in Tuesday's Bristol paper, page 2, of Sports, I believe. It lists the first team, second team, and HM. The only player I saw on the list from Tazewell was John Edwards, which I assume is John Edmonds. There was one or two from GHS and CCHS.

Any time THS and GHS get together, regardless of the sport, throw out the records books and start from scratch, because anything can happen. Does anybody know for sure what time today's game starts?
