Carroll looked good passing the ball(and running most of the time) but we need to improve in the secondary. bigorange_66 10 Report Share Posted August 13, 2005 I agree with you. Both teams looked good for the first scrimmage, and were evenly matched to. Our defensive line needs to improve a lot to stop the inside trap. Carroll wore us out with that play. Our secondary needs to improve a lot also. We got burnt deep a couple times. The offense looked pretty sound and clicked well. We had good timing on our Veer plays, and our receivers were running good routes. Matthew had a slow start, but got better as he went.
