WHSHokies 10 Report Share Posted September 3, 2005 Good defense , keep it up. The MCracken to Stanton combination is their all game long and they aren't taking avantage of it. They both are division 1 players.
BigD4VT 11 Report Share Posted September 3, 2005 Stanton had at least 6 inches on his defender and has already shown he go up to get the ball. Just throw him the ball high and it's his. He was under utilized last night. Also what's the point of the spread if we're just going to bunch them up on their routes? Maybe I've spent too much time with playstation, but should'nt every passing play have sombody streaking down the field? And shouldn't we use screens and swing routes to get the ball to the smaller backs in open space? Honaker wasn't letting Smith run at all last night.
