I agree with Coach Smith, you don't pull your starters becauce Coach Mance did. The game isn't over to the fat lady sings. I have been a Blue Tornado fan for over 50 years and can remember when we complained that Beaver and Gate City ran the score up on us. Let's enjoy our good run and be a good sport. We must remember these are just teen agers entertaining a bunch of us old has been. Go Big Blues and win state.

As per the president of Giles High School booster club, Coach Ragdales is coaching one more year and Coach Mance is coming to Giles.

I was very disappointed in RHS coaches keeping the first team offense in the game with a 40-0 lead, in the middle of the 3rd. quarter. Honaker was already beat and in a state shock, after having one of their their team mates carried off the field, on a gurney. I think it showed no respect to our neighbors. I hope Graham or Tazewell doesn't retaliate against us. Good luck Tigers during the rest of the season and thank GOD your team mate is o.k.

I agree Bam Bam, that was the best defensive team to every wear a Richlands uniform. There is no one moving up that can replace Smith, Payne, Arms, Gayheart, Harrison, Miller and Taylor. This team wil score points like last year but can that stop the other teams from scoring ? We shall see!!!!

1.Gerald "Red" Bobbitte, All state in 1958. Played both ways at Va Tech in 1962 at Tailback and linebacker. Lead the Hokies in pass interceptions and was the leading rusher.
