rebel3 17 Author Report Share Posted September 24, 2005 OK let me tell you a little more about the game. PH gave up a 14 point 4th quarter lead with 1:01 left in the game. John Battle lead 30-29. PH took the ball at the 20, went the distance of the field, and kicked a field goal with 7.6 seconds left and went up 32-30. The stupid PH coach called an onside kick! What the hell was he thinking? It almost cost them the game. JB fell on the ball and had 3.3 seconds left somewhere around the PH 40 yard line. jbfan 10 Report Share Posted September 30, 2005 I have seen the tape of the game... thank you very much...and forgive me if I am wrong but two arms straight up in the air signals a TD, half of his body and the ball crossed the plain, until you can honestly say you have seen the tape and know for sure what your talking about then go back to your nest. Well the tape has been sent to the VHSL, and who knows maybe there will be a new signal so we won't get confused the next time... rebel4life 10 Report Share Posted October 1, 2005 there has been no tape sent to the vhsl. every year every league every team there is one game where there is a bad call and of course rumors fly that its going to be sent to vhsl but guess what this isnt the nfl , there isnt going to be an reversal! from what ive heard the RETARDED ref did singal td but the kid wasnt in the end zone. jbfan 10 Report Share Posted October 3, 2005 Thanks for the update, I never said anything about a reversal... the bad thing about the whole thing is that you just don't do that to a kid, you don't make stupid mistakes like that and this should be reviewed by the vhsl referee association, calls like that just not only cause controversy but also a kid's moment.
