beaverbaseball 10 Report Share Posted October 3, 2005 Bluefield High Schools golf team made the long travel up to Wheeling early this morning...Most of the time you hear Bluefield High School going to Wheeling its for football but this time they will be on the golf course They won regionals which earned them a spot up-state with 7 more teams..8 overall Bluefield could only choose 5 golfers to and they took the following: 1. Dexter Moore (junior) 2. Kyle Hammond (junior) 3. Jonathan Matthews (junior) 4. Zack Sowder (junior) 5. Scout.com has him listed as 3-star recruit right now and the second best player regardless of class in WV behind only 6'8", 4-star Patrick Patterson of Huntington. Both Dexter and his dad are great people and love to help out the community I think Dexter is really gonna make something of hisself oneday in basketball and if not he can fall back on golf! beaverbaseball 10 Author Report Share Posted October 5, 2005 Well Bluefield didn't have a good 1st round...Currently they are in 6th place out of 8 teams..Princeton is in 7th place Dexter Moore posted a score of 89, Seth Perry 90, Zack Sowder 94, and Jonathan Matthews 97...Kyle Hammond will be playing for Matthews in round 2 today They are only 9 strokes back from the top three so they still have a decent chance I'll give a update tommorrow Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
