Bluefield_Rules 46 Author Report Share Posted October 7, 2005 [ QUOTE ] No doubt! Reggie Ball looks horrible...must think he's still in Blacksburg... [/ QUOTE ] Ball's receivers haven't looked good either, dropping a number of very catchable passes. And it isn't like he doesn't have time in the pocket. Heck, a number of times he could have read a novel with as much time as he has had to stand in there.

rhsfan88 22 Report Share Posted October 7, 2005 Well GT had it inside the 5 yard line with :32 seconds left. Ball throws it up to Calvin Johnson and he had both hands on it but get undercut and the ball falls right into the NCST DB's hands for a touchback. Bluefield_Rules 46 Author Report Share Posted October 7, 2005 [ QUOTE ] almost looked like the WR tipped it to the defender...lol [/ QUOTE ] I saw a very similar type play last week in the ASU/USC game. ASU was trailing USC by only three and were starting to the drive down the field. ASU's QB throws a long pass across the middle to his best receiver, Hagan, who caught it initially, but then looked as if he threw the ball right to the USC defensive back. Obviously the result was just like tonight, game over.
