hhstigerfan 12 Report Share Posted October 30, 2006 Does anyone know Lebanon's entire out of district schedule for next season? All I have heard is they have Honaker, Northwood, and Powell Valley. Heard Richlands is off the schedule.
plooolt 10 Report Share Posted October 30, 2006 I know Richlands is off and Tazewell is still on.
plooolt 10 Report Share Posted October 30, 2006 Just speculation but I expect them to play Castlewood, that would get them playing both Honaker and Castlewood.
hhstigerfan 12 Author Report Share Posted October 30, 2006 I wish Honaker hadn't dropped Castlewood. I think this season might have been a good match up between the two teams and heck, playing them is always better than playing John Battle or Twin Springs. I don't really know much about the history of football in Russell Co. But if Castlewood's football program has been around as long as Honaker's, I'd say it was a pretty old series. I hope maybe somewhere down the line, the school board steps in and gets the series going again.

Sambo 10 Report Share Posted October 31, 2006 [ QUOTE ] It seems to me that I heard that they picked up Giles.(?) Â [/ QUOTE ] Â Then listen to the coaches when they say watch your line reads and not get carried away by what you see in the backfield. Giles runs that offense like nobody's business. hhstigerfan 12 Author Report Share Posted November 1, 2006 Lebanon should schedule a series with Haysi. I'm sure Haysi would love to get Lebanon on the schedule. Seems like I heard they will have a pretty tough time next season getting 10 games...
biggamesjames 18 Report Share Posted November 1, 2006 Yes Haysi would love to get Lebanon on the schedule. Its gonna be tough to find 10 with all the teams that have dropped them. I would like to see them pick Castlewood back up as well.

clodhopper 10 Report Share Posted November 3, 2006 You've won the district with Lebanon in it. George Wythe always has a solid program, just a little less competition in the district now. Good luck, it's been a fun series.
