go4st8 10 Report Share Posted November 18, 2006 No homefield ref magic on this game. Martinsville dominated despite being penalized 100 yards! The refs seemed a little quick on the delay of game calls, but otherwise it was a very fairly called game.
Bulldog 82 11 Report Share Posted November 18, 2006 I went to the game and the Dogs looked pretty solid defensively and on the offense. Martinsville probably had a 100yds in penalties and if it weren't for all the penalties the Dogs might have put up a few more points. Carrol Co. run what looked like a double wing T with one back usually going in motion but they seemed one dementional and really didn't throw the ball that much. Carrol Co's #6 seemed to be their go to guy but the Bulldog defense hung tough pretty much the whole game. Congrats to the Dogs and Taylor Edwards.
