blueinbama 259 Report Share Posted December 3, 2007 I believe VT-Kansas will be a close game, with Tech winning by a FG in the 4th qtr...Tech 38 Kansas 35 in a barn burner.
Deleted Account 5,203 Report Share Posted December 3, 2007 Could definitely see that. I'm going to go a little lower with mine. Tech seems to pull away from teams in the 4th quarter, and thus, I have them winning by two scores. Virginia Tech-34 Kansas-
GetMoney55 11 Report Share Posted December 3, 2007 I think it will be a lot closer of a game than what most VT fans are thinking. Kansas is good, not the best, and neither is VT, but theyre two good teams and I think it will be a good game. Sure, Kansas played a somewhat soft schedule, but they put up incredible numbers againsts those teams, and it doesnt matter who you play, if you put up numbers like that, it's impressive. I think this game is gonna be good, along with every other BCS game this year. I say VT by a touchdown late.
GMan 3,569 Report Share Posted December 3, 2007 Kansas is not a "good" team...they are decent but not "good". The only team that is more overrated than Kansas that made a BCS bowl is Hawaii. Missouri should have gotten the BCS bowl instead of Kansas.
wvuraiders 10 Report Share Posted December 3, 2007 I agree it should have been Mizzou vs VT more appealing matchup for myself.

GetMoney55 11 Report Share Posted December 3, 2007 I definitely agree that Mizzou should have gotten the game rather than Kansas. Kansas is still a good team in my opinion and I think it will be a good game. VT wins, but not by much.

The fan base that follows the basketball team must be good and they made the pick thinking the fan base would travel for the football team. Rock, Chalk, Jayhawk makes no sense to me for the Orange Bowl. Better get the buffets ready for Mangino!! "I've ate a baby!"
hokie07 11 Report Share Posted December 3, 2007 Did you see the sign "ESPN: Obesity Lives Here." sign at Gameday when they were at the Mizzou vs. Kansas game? LOL

That would be the most heft in two opponents since Tugboat and Earthquake brawled in the WWF in the early 90s.
