9 when UVA plays Clemson in two weeks. Book it.

And get your laughs in now, because the ACC will be LOADED next season. You heard it here first.

I look for Duke and UVA both to get 6 wins. If Duke beats 2 of 3 they are in. The have Clemson Sat., VT next sat. and then UNC in the season finale. Boy wouldnt it be nice if 10 of the 12 teams got into a bowl? Hmm...

That's not suprising if you think about it. They have more teams than most conferences. ACC has 12 teams, Big 12 has 12, C-USA has 12 but lets be honest C-USA is awful, Big10 has 11 and the bigeast has 8

When certain conferences have more teams, I'd expect them to have more teams bowl eligible

You have to look at by the percentage of teams then. The ACC will most likely have 75% (possibly 83%) of its teams eligible to play in bowl games, higher than any other conference. For a "weak" conference that is pretty surprising/impressive.

OK then...

ACC - 8 out of 12, .667

Big East - 5 out of 8, .625

Big 12 - 7 out of 12, .583

Big10/11 - 6 out of 11, .545

SEC - 6 out of 12, .500

Pac 10 - 5 out of 10, .500

Mountain West - 4 out of 9, .444

C-USA - 3 out of 12, .250

Independents - 1 out of 4, .250

MAC - 3 out of 13, .231

WAC - 2 out of 9, .222

Sun Belt - 1 out of 8, .125

Im an SEC homer, but I think overall the Big 12 is the best conferrence this year. They and the SEC will fill 2 of the BCS spots this year and very likely will represent the 2 teams in the Nat'l Championship this year.

I think the Big XII is the best this year myself, but there's no possible way they'll get 2 teams into the BCS title game. Just not happening.
