trigger 10 Report Share Posted November 21, 2008 Little to no snow on the ground. I expect the sun to melt anything that is on the football field. Floyd should be ready to open the gates. The only question is can Chilhowie get everyone to the bus safely?
Single_A_Fan 30 Report Share Posted November 21, 2008 I posted this over at Virginiapreps. Floyd and Giles and only a couple of others had school today. Smyth, Wythe, Washington, Buchanan, Scott, Russell, Grayson, Lee, Craig, Bath, Pulaski, Radford, Bland all are closed. I don't know what the aversion is to playing the game on Saturday. Its supposed to be sunny and in the mid 30's with calm winds. Why play a game in crappy conditions when neither team would be playing their best ball when you have the chance to push the game out 1 day and have much better conditions than what is expected tonight. I want to see both teams at their best.
JamesL_CcLB34 10 Report Share Posted November 21, 2008 Floyd probably could have closed school today i live a mile from the county line and we are out today, only reason they didn't was probably to play the game tonight.
