VHSLhelper 571 Author Report Share Posted July 30, 2009 "Big Money"? Yep... definitely. Swords Creek native Heath Miller has signed a 6-year extension with the Pittsburgh Steelers. A late first-round pick in 2005, Miller's 1st contract was for $6.89 million over five years, plus a $3.95 million signing bonus. Yesterday evening, Miiller agreed to a six-year, $35.3 million deal that includes a $12.5 million signing bonus, which will keep him in black & gold thru the 2014 season. Miller caught 48 passes for 514 yards and three touchdowns last season. Heath and his teammates report to training camp at St. Vincent College tomorrow with the 1st practice scheduled for 3 pm Saturday. The Steelers will be in Charlotte to take on the Panthers to wrap up the pre-season on Thursday, Sept. 3rd @ 8 PM. Tickets start at $38 and will go on sale Sat. morning at 10 am. NOTE - "Sales to this event will be restricted to residents of North and South Carolina. Residency will be based on credit card billing address. " ...So get someone down there to order them for you or go and pay cash.
