tbgfan 856 Report Share Posted December 17, 2010 Published in today's, December 17th Bristol Herald Courier: In her freshman season Anna McClung scored a Virginia High School League record 65 goals in 16 games. Four months into her sophomore year, the 16-year-old has verbally accepted a scholarship to play soccer at Florida State University in the ACC. McClung helped lead the Blue Devils to Clinch Mountain District and Region D titles before Gate City fell in the state semifinals. Her seven goals in one game is also a state record and helped her be named the Region D Player of the Year and first team all-state. In Tallahassee, Fla., she'll play for coach Mark Krikorian on a Seminole team that has made the Elite Eight the past three seasons. In 2007, FSU was an NCAA finalist and advanced to the Final Four in both 2005 and 2006. Life has many choices---eternity two

_______________ 10 Report Share Posted December 22, 2010 definitely not stretching it, she is a sophomore and already committed to a d1 college. also broke the virginia high school league scoring record as a freshman before the end of the season? Yeah you're right. I don't know why I said that. She hasn't even played her sophomore season and has already committed to a d1 program. She's on pace to score 300 goals.
