hokie07 11 Report Share Posted January 9, 2011 Apparently the suspected shooter has made claims in the past that he has jedi mind powers and can control religions...your usual batspit craziness. This. I just pray for all affected and for America in general. Hopefully, this won't set off copy cat attempts now giving the notion that attempted assassinations are apparently the cool thing to do now if you are crazy and don't agree with the way America is headed. We do have a fair number of alumni on the bench in various locations, though.
tbgfan 856 Report Share Posted January 9, 2011 Roll is a native Pennsylvanian, but went to the University of Arizona for both undergrad and law, IIRC.We do have a fair number of alumni on the bench in various locations, though. This is from his bio on "Judgepedia"-- also a side note I heard yesterday was that every Saturday he went to Mass, at a church around the corner from Ms. Giffords rally site, and he had just stopped by to say hello when he realized she was holding a meeting. After that he was on his way home because "he did the floors every Saturday." So tragic, heard everyone speak so highly of him. Early life and education A native Pennsylvanian, Roll graduated from the University of Arizona with his Bachelor's Degree in 1969 and his J.D. degree in 1972. Roll later graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law with his Masters of Laws Degree in 1990.
