fieldgeneral 10 Report Share Posted March 10, 2011 UCONN just upset PITT in the BE tourney....wow ...great ending...Calhoun seemed to call a play to get a switch where walker was guarded by McHee (Pitt's Center). He used his quickness to get McHee out of the way..he fell down....Walker stepped back and canned the long 2 to win 76-

Walker worked him.

beano5 14 Report Share Posted March 10, 2011 if it wasn't for Jimmer having such an amazing year, he would be player of the year, IMO.

trublue 939 Report Share Posted March 28, 2011 Didn't want to start a new thread and since this thread is relative to UConn ... A little trivia for you... a current UConn FR. player's father, playing for VCU, beat a Jim Calhoun's team with a "last second" shot sending Calhoun's team home from the NCAA tourney. (Note, the young Calhoun on the vid.) Here it is: Now, that you know the answer to above, following is an article on Jeremy Lamb, former Norcross player, having an outstanding year at UConn. (Note, in article, Jeremy did not start until his senior year on the Norcross squad, he played behind his brother, Zach.) http://www.ajc.com/sports/high-school/patience-pays-off-ex-871778.html http://www.gwinnettdailypost.com/sports/headlines/Fresh_face_Newcomer_Lamb_fuels_Big_East_title_run_118046539.html
