A "tad" long winded here...:)

Grayson HS and Brookwood HS in Gwinnett Co. GA have taken smack to a NEW level... no defacing property, stealing the other's mascot or pranks of the past. They've moved to the world of you tube . These kids, for both sides, have done a pretty high quality job and the vids are not done in a "mean spirited way."

Little history on Grayson HS, opened in 2000, has an enrollment of 3,230 students 9th-12th grades .Brookwood HS was opened in 1981 has 3,433 students 9th-12th . They both play in region 8 in the GA AAAAA classification and their game is this Friday, Oct. 28. Will be shown on http://www.gpb.org/sports at 8 p.m.

Brookwood is last year's GA 5A FB state champion ...Grayson has not won a state title in FB.

(Just to show you how "fairweather" some fans can be, I was reading a local FB message board early in the season last year and one of the threads started by a BW fan said, "Brookwood's program was slowly going down the drain"; also, the BW coach "was not playing the talent he should"...lol...I guess they have FWF on every board.

Grayson, ranked 5th. by USA Today and #16 by Rivals, fired the first volley on You Tube. Uploaded on Oct. 14 and has over 200,000 hits.

Grayson, has the nation's projected #1 front runner for the year 2013. You read it right...2013... Robert Nkmemdiche (Kim-dee-chi) a DT wearing #1 in a cameo appearance on GHS's vid. I saw him play earlier in the year, a MAN among boys. (There were two games played starting at 5 p.m...the second grader wouldn't leave until the "last cat was whipped"...we left the stadium at 11:30 P.M.)

Following is a quote about Nkemdiche from an area coach Derek Cook of Kell HS who played Grayson in the GA Dome to kick off this year's season:

''He has no business playing in high school. He is ready for college right now physically. He would be a candidate to go straight from high school to the NFL. He is going to be a great college and NFL player if he stays healthy and out of trouble," he said.

Cook is no stranger to NFL-caliber talent, having coached Steelers running back Jonathan Dwyer and the late Kenny McKinley, former Broncos receiver. Nkemdiche has an older brother at Ole Miss.

Now, here's Brookwood's response uploaded yesterday with almost 27,000 hits. Nick Tompkins the current RB for BW has already committed to MI State. (A couple of Brookwood's players from last yr. are at MI State.)

This article has just been posted on the AJC about the "dueling" videos and upcoming game... both school's kids are going to donate their money to charity...
