Reading Lists:

Recommended Posts

I know that we all spend a good bit of our time here on SWVASports, and probably even more time on the world wide web. I believe we've had a thread like this before but I can't remember. Anyways, I'm just curious to see what other sites we visit, read, participate, etc. It might help someone else expand their daily viewing material...

Here's my list:

Rivals

Drudge Report

Charleston Daily Mail

Wall Street Journal

Yahoo! Finance

Business Week

Forbes

ESPN

StumbleUpon

(PM me for my NSFW material, jk jk.)

Anyone else?

The more people post, the more I realize I did a terrible job on my list and visit more sites than I listed...

Steap and Cheap. This is a site I check daily, sort of (I actually have a Firefox widget that constantly shows it in addition to an iPhone app).

I don't know if anyone on here is a fan of camping, hiking, snowboarding, skiing, and all other things outdoors, but this site constantly runs timed deals on great brand-name items 24 hours a day at more than 60% off. Granted most stuff is still expensive as hell, it is still cool to get a $300 for like $70-80 if you are looking for something like that.

I've scored tons of stuff off there for great deals in the past. Like I said, if you don't really like this kind of stuff then its not really that cool of a site. But I do, so I enjoy it...

Each time I open firefox my routine usually goes a little something like this:

1. SWVAsports (usually stays open in a separate browser for frequent refreshing)

2. Reddit

3. Car Forums

4. Lamebook/Failbook/Failblog

5. Facebook

6. Braves.com/ESPN

6. Reddit (for the rest of the day)

Some other sites that are not updated daily, but I still check on occasion are:

1. The Best Page in the Universe

2. Emails from an Asshole (dontevenreply.com)

And that's about it. Kind of sad that I can waste so much time on so few sites. However, this site and reddit make up a good portion of my internet browsing
