wave316 64 Report Share Posted December 16, 2011 :)I have gotten to attend each Va Practice this week . Everyone has had a great time. Coaches have done great! Players are having more fun than I have ever seen at practice...laughing ,joking ,trading helmet stickers,etc...Va should be a good group Saturday 1pm at Science Hill. Oline anchored by big Josh Hess of Richlands and Taylor Wade. Running backs look great...Devon Johnson,Tyler Graham and Jonathan Turpin from George Wythe... Full Back T yler Barker of Union is a beast! Qb's look good...Reece Strong, Zayne Williams and Josh Blackburn... Wrs look good ...Bryan Sayler, Dakota Stanley, Travis Foster, Nathan Baker. Db's look good ,Hunter Tolley of GW ,Chris Belcher of Lebanon, Josh Compton of Richlands... LB'S look great..anchored by Jay Howington of GC...HE'S A BEAST.. Tonight we have our Va banquet at Bristol ..players recieve their game jerseys and have a great meal and fellowship. Should be a great game Saturday .WJHL TV11 will broadcast the game and reair it 6pm Saturday evening. Lance 228 Report Share Posted December 16, 2011 for those that don't know, the game is being played right next to Freedom Hall in Johnson City...very easy to get to and you can drop off the women folk for shopping at the mall and go enjoy some good football right down the street. This is a great game to watch in a great venue...if you have never been to this stadium before, it's a very nice place. This will be the last time some of these kids ever take the field...and it's a LONG way to August before we will have any more football to watch...take the time and get away for a couple of hours from all the Holiday stress and treat yourself to an entertaining game...and most of all, show up and support your local kids for one last game...they deserve it!
