bucfan64 309 Report Share Posted August 20, 2012 Interesting piece. I have always enjoyed RATM, but I have never really been able to identify with their socialist leanings. This article takes a look at the "hypocrisy," of some left leaning ideas. http://www.americanthinker.com/2012/08/whos_clueless_paul_ryan_or_rage_against_the_machine.html

Deleted Account 5,203 Report Share Posted August 20, 2012 Interesting piece. I have always enjoyed RATM, but I have never really been able to identify with their socialist leanings. This article takes a look at the "hypocrisy," of some left leaning ideas. http://www.americanthinker.com/2012/08/whos_clueless_paul_ryan_or_rage_against_the_machine.html Two reactions: (1) I'm SHOCKED and FLABBERGASTED that Rolling Stone would support someone on the left, even a laughably hypocritical music group on the left. Three things in life, there are: death, taxes, and Rolling Stone being as far left and/or misguided as you can imagine. (2) I'm glad to see SOMETHING, even if it is a blog, take the Che lovers and fanboy loons to task for believing the contradictory bile they spew. redtiger 1,742 Report Share Posted August 20, 2012 Maybe this is bad of me but I like Rage, really enjoy the music but its revolutionary message is shallow at best. Really as activists they are more troublemakers than anything. They are too far left for me, they stand for noting and simply oppose everything associated with "the man" or "the establishment". Wthout any real reasoning. Badass musicians but its little more than music. I associate their political views/ political significance with the idiots that wear the Che and hammer/sickle t-shirts without really know what either stand for.
