ghs73 157 Report Share Posted August 28, 2012 This is 3 years in a row now that Graham has beaten Bluefield petty handily at the middle school level... but only the second year for coach williams at the helm at ghs. so hopefully with this talent future is bright at ghs. mnhokie 10 Report Share Posted August 28, 2012 Two things stood out for me in regards to the GMS-BMS game last night: GMS had at least double the amount of kids in uniform as BMS. The GMS crowd was the largest I have ever seen for a Middle School game. The future does indeed appear very bright for Graham football. beaverbaseball 10 Report Share Posted August 28, 2012 GMS had at least double the amount of kids in uniform as BMS. BMS only have 26 players on the roster. By far the lowest in the schools history.
hokies11 10 Report Share Posted August 28, 2012 but only the second year for coach williams at the helm at ghs. You're right. I think the main point here is that these boys playing now will hopefully WANT to play for Williams, instead of dropping the sport altogether because they hate the coach. ghs73 157 Report Share Posted August 28, 2012 Coaching at BMS needs a change almost sounds like what was going on at ghs several years ago. bad coaching led to fewer kids out to play football. maybe a new direction will help the kids at bms. lets hope it happens soon. bhs7695 185 Report Share Posted August 28, 2012 I was told by one of the BMS players that they had about 35 kids. Still, that's not a strong number for BMS by any means. Buster needs to give it up along with BHS basketball.
