ThomasDenton 79 Report Share Posted January 24, 2013 http://news.msn.com/politics/pentagon-opens-combat-roles-to-women IMO, if they're going to do this, then have women use the same benchmark that the men use (and just like men who can't meet the requirements, women who can't meet them can't serve in combat either) and the selective service program should now include 18+ year old women as well. Gotta have equality, right? I see these as being the two biggest problems to face and I'm sure that there'll be an uproar no matter which decision they make on these. We want the best fighting for this country, regardless of sex. The standards need to be the same. As far as women in selective service, not gonna happen anytime soon, if ever.
